RMIT – Stem from STEM

What kind of jobs first come to mind when you think about graduating from a STEM degree?  It’s probably a safe bet you didn’t think of a stockbroker. 

Stripping it back allowed me to hero the messaging and stand out in a market that’s crowded with visuals of men holding beakers. I used type to place focus on the career outcomes, key proof points and updated RMIT structure. 

I highlighted ‘-ST’ from all of the career outcomes from STEM. Drawing connections and awareness to all the paths that wait for you when you finish your degree. 

Selling this idea proved to be difficult. It’s new and different for RMIT. Having to fight for an idea you know ultimately will have a better result for your client can be pretty rewarding when you get sign-off. The result is an idea that is distinctly ownable for RMIT which they have now adopted as the schools brand identity.
